Nice to meet you

My initial interest in exercise and mobility started early on in high school when I discovered the world of fitness. I was fascinated by the human anatomy and would spend most of my free time researching and experiencedly training the muscular system, how are bodies moved, what muscles were involved in each movement and how to form a deeper mind to muscle connection. I was a very healthy and active teenager who put health and fitness first. This yearning for health and fitness knowledge led me towards a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sport, Exercise and Nutrition at Northumbria University. During my studies I also trained and competed as a Dancer exploring the infinite and abundant ways the body move, which led me to know my body deeper and its unique expression.

After completed my studies I further qualified as a Fitness and Personal training and working in a leisure centre and gym gaining valuable experience.

Teaching and leading have always been a natural passion and purpose of mine which made me enrol on a P.E teacher training programme and study gaining transferable skills and experience on delivery, engagement, discipline, organisation, and communication.

After a variety of big changes in my life with living location, relationships and work I dived deeper into the Yogic Path spending long time in Meditation and Spiritual study while learning life changing tools to calm anxiety, stress and OCD. For the last 7 years I have been implementing, sharing and teaching kids, teenagers and adults tools to bring overall wellness to the mind, body and soul through mindful movement, meditation, breathing exercises, massage techniques and health care.

In my spare time I recharge, replenish and find great joy in activities such as: Swimming in the ocean, walking in nature, Leading or participating in Dance classes or cooking nutritious and delicious meals :D

I realized years ago that nothing outside me would ever fully support me. Amidst the anxiety I leaned into the practice of yoga and meditation to calm my mind and to release tension from my body. Yoga has always grounded me and to kept me in the present moment. The connection to the rhythms my breath and body piqued my interest, so I decided to do a yoga teacher trainer course on integral yoga where I dived deeper into my mind and body learning: Yoga postures, breathing exercises and tools to release tension, stress and bring internal harmony and peace.

My studies could not stop there and I was drawn to a Yin yoga course with a respected teacher of mine, learning the deeper states of relaxation, joint care, and pain relief. These experiences were absolutely life changing!

As my body, joints & connective tissues healed my nervous system calmed down. I began to realize the interconnected nature of the energy within me. As nothing outside of me changed I turned within, focusing on my own energy field and focusing on moving my energy with the power of visualization, reiki, symbols & positive thinking. As my internal state changed, my external life changed in turn.

Samantha Gingell

I work as a Wellness Tutor in Mind, Body, Soul (MBS) delivering high quality, fun and engaging sessions to kids, Teenagers and Special Needs Groups- focusing on Yoga, mindfulness, breathing techniques and tools for mind empowerment, body balance and strength and spiritual connection and peace.

In my spare time you can find me singing, playing guitar by the beach, stretching and relaxing in nature or making healthy gut-friendly juices and essential oil remedies.

Yoga and spiritual practices have changed my life and given me a sense of inner peace. I hope you may find use in them too.
